I create stained glass mosaic sculptural paintings using all different color sheets of stained glass. I cut the glass with a glass cutter or mosaic cutters and then shape/sculpt the pieces of glass on a glass grinder.

I glue each piece in place, forming the image I desire. Once the image is completed, I then grout the piece. The grout seeps in between the many many pieces of glass and “pulls” the piece together.

This same process is also used when creating my stained glass mosaic lit pieces of art. Each of my pieces are lit with rechargeable fairy lights with an on/off switch. Once charged for an hour and half, they provide a minimum of 14 hours of light before needing recharging. No plugs or batteries. Renewable energy!

I compose sculptural stained glass mosaic paintings by hand. Some pieces are Illuminated internally with embedded LED technology that run on renewable power sources, to bring my work to life.

I have always been astounded by the ancient mosaics found throughout the world. I am fascinated by the beauty of composing a unified image by puzzling so many pieces of glass together.

My favorite material to use when creating is Stained glass, smalti and ceramic tile.

I love working on my art in the afternoon and completing the details of my illuminated pieces at night.
